Those who don’t have an interest in history, culture, food, and wine will most certainly get bored in Pula. You really shouldn’t feel sorry for them because there must be something wrong with them if they get bored in one of the oldest cities in Croatia.

Enter inside and soak in an amazing atmosphere, you will feel so little, but you’ll feel some strange power rising in you. Every summer some amazing musicians have concerts in amphitheater. An ancient history full of greatness combined with the best musicians from Croatia and the world is all you need for an unforgettable night.
Sergijevac’s triumphal arch is another part of history that holds its ground for 2000 years. The arch leads to the old city center and is the object of admiration due to its amazing carvings.
I won’t tell anything more about the history of this amazing city, it would ruin feeling you’ll get while exploring the two-millennium old city.
Instead, I’ll tell you just a little bit about the amazing food in Pula.
Istria is home for a couple of special kinds of pasta. You can’t buy them in the store, they are made by the traditional recipe and combined with different sauces. Istrian cuisine is basically a Mediterranean cuisine with one little, yet very important, difference. Lands around Pula hide valuable mushrooms – truffles.

Cape Kamenjak is close to Pula, translated to English “Kamenjak” means “a field of stones”. It is special because when you look at the shape of Croatia you can clearly see that Istria is the head of the big bird. That makes the most south point of peninsula top of the beak.
Kamenjak is also one of the last places where “Morski čovik” – Mediterranean monk seal has been seen.
